Yes, Seventy Hyal can be injected into the under-eye area, but due to the prevalence of blood vessels and the risky nature of injecting into the tear troughs, this should only be attempted by practitioners who have trained in tear trough treatment. One of the most common errors practitioners make when injecting Seventy Hyal under the eyes is overfilling. Overfilling the under-eye area can cause swelling, due to the humectant nature of hyaluronic acid, therefore we would never recommend exceeding the recommended amount of skin booster, particularly in this treatment area. Our lead trainer recommends injecting 0.3ml per side using a cannula.

It is possible to combine dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and Seventy Hyal 2000 at the same time. However, best practice would suggest undertaking a dermal filler treatment 2 weeks before any other HA facial treatments, to allow the dermal fillers to settle and find their shape. Anti-wrinkle injections and Seventy Hyal can be used together particularly if the toxin is in a separate facial area. If considering doing multiple treatments at the same time also consider the additional trauma to the skin which could mean a longer recovery time.
